What To Expect From IndiYou Custom Made

In order for me to complete a design, pattern and garment or outfit that will help you to look you’re best we will need to work together. Following is a step by step process, to insure everything runs smoothly. The time required from the initial meeting to finished outfit is a minimum of six weeks! Eight weeks standard.

1. Initial Meeting.  This is where we take your measurements, analyse your body type, personal dressing style, look at the fabrics and styles I have available.  You tell me what you require and by what date.

2. If none of the fabrics I have on offer are suitable you need to source your own.  I can start some basic designs if I know the type of fabric you have in mind. But fabric choice can effect designs.

3. Two weeks after initial meeting I present you with the designs in the chosen fabrics, and give you a quote.(If you were choosing fabric, they need to have been forwarded to me at least one week prior to this appointment.) If no designs appeal, I will redesign and meet you again in a week.

4. On accepting the quote and choosing a design, you are required to pay a 50% deposit, which initiates the drafting of the pattern.

5. First fitting.  Bring the shoes and underwear you intend to wear with outfit. This is where the pattern and fit is tested, and any minor style changes can be made.

6. Second fitting.  Bring the shoes and underwear that you intend to wear with the outfit.  If the changes are substantial a second calico fitting may be required, It is important that you are happy with the style and fit at this stage. If you want to make further style changes at this stage it will incur extra cost of $30 an hour.

7. Final fitting.  This is where you try on and pick up the finished garment.  Final payment is required at this stage. If you are not 100% Happy we will fix it!
